DAN PIRARO INTERVIEW IN VEGETARIAN TIMES

In 2009, I was incredibly honored to have a Q&A featured in Vegetarian Times. The story was on Dan Piraro, the creator of the comic strip Bizarro. Like me, Piraro is a vegan, so needless to say, we were both excited to be part of Vegetarian Times.

In other VT news, I recently interviewed cartoonist Patrick McDonnell, who created Mutts. That should run mid-2010.

VEGAN GOODNESS

I'm very excited to report that my first feature in Vegetarian Times can be found in the July/August issue. The fine folks at VT even ran a picture of me in the Contributors section. This is a first for me, so thanks VT.

Oh, the story in question involves "Bizarro" creator Dan Piraro. It was a great conversation as he was very funny, informative and down to Earth, three things I enjoy in people.

Also, I am a regular contributor (again, with a picture of me) to a vegan blog called Veggie Thing. Basically, I eat awesome vegan food, then write about it. It's a pretty sweet gig.
